Twitter: A Playful Outlet to Debate
In recent years, social media has become a huge space for people all over the world to stay connected. It cannot be denied that its growing rapidly holding an important part in life needs and no exceptions, Twitter. According to Omnicore statistic for twitter, there are currently 199 milion daily active users with total 500 milions of tweet sent per day which proves this platform has hit it rises since launch back in 2006 enhance the reputation.
There is so many users diversity with different culture, rules, and habits fed into one platform increasing the number of topics and opinions along the way. Twitter, present an open forum to those who want to discuss things or even almost every single thing of how individuals view themselves and others that causes interest of each person with what they currently enjoy, and I should say that I’m the one who doing it, as a user. Moreover, people can let loose voice or just random talk by tweeting, commenting, retweeting that shows support, embrace each other, or even surprisingly, go on fight.
Somehow, it gets complicated when they started to uncover thought at different role and sharing as they speak. I started to notice it where one topic comes and attract people to share what’s on their mind according to the case with multiplied different opinons that seemingly contrasting or expressing their thought of mere rhetoric.
A chaotic part sometimes occur, whether in form of bad or good instead, the numerous arguments can shifted and challenged each time people dare to show point of view. They who come from college, student, even a workman or expert can blend in the same ring with no doubtness if they want to. The bad situation appears when they lost their control and make situation explode. Someone can literally offended by other argument as they sit in the complete opposite and cannot take or respect the opinion of other parties that causes the root of debate. Especially when their desire to show who is the most correct swells, who is they think victory, then it can potentially gone haywire.
When others can unfold and acknowledge point’s they were never knew or see what they’ve been wrong perceived with, then it went to terms with the good part of why the situation happened. The good is not always impacted to the debaters but also the other users who just saw it and possibly picking up the neccesary by consumming the new information.
In reality, we all agree, how much we try to speak ours, there will always be parts that are seen different by other people. Pros and cons go hand in hand, charm with human thoughts and mind. To put yourself in the line of the closer situation might enlighten you to be mindful with each position that you won’t to force other parties to be in the same thoughts with you. The important key to do is we need to aware of the boundaries of showing ourselves to others and to be respectful. However, it’s all social media thing.
